Friday Finds

I had planned to post eggnog flavored recipes for this week's Friday Finds, but then I found this, and I just had to include it.  Chocolate covered cherries are one of my favorite candies, even with the chemicals and all.  When I saw this recipe, I knew immediately that it would go on my "to make very soon" list.

Inside BruCrew Life

I have never had Little Debbie's Cherry Cordials, but these look great.  I almost never make rolled-out cookies, but it would be worth it to make these.  I just need to get to the grocery store to pick up some marshmallow creme.

Now on to the recipes using eggnog:

Sugary Sweets

What can I say?  I think eating these would be pure heaven.  This is a wonderful blog to find all sorts of goodies.  Must buy even more marshmallow creme.

Wanna a be a Country Cleaver

If I am going to put in the time and effort to make homemade marshmallows, I think I should make these eggnog ones.  I wish that I could reach into that photo and snag one.  I seem to have lots of unflavored gelatin on hand.  This would use up some of it.

Recipe Girl

Lori over at Recipe Girl recently posted a list of  25 Favorite Christmas recipes and listed the two above.  Both look very delicious.  The quick bread would make great gifts, and the coffee cake would be wonderful to serve on Christmas morning.

Now, if all the sugary goodness has put you in a sugar coma, perhaps it would be wise to try these.

Mel's Kitchen Cafe

Mel over at Mel's Kitchen Cafe is doing Sugar Rush Reinvented right now and this is her first post of the series.  Now, I think bacon in anything is right up there with sweets so I could really go for these.  Bread, cream cheese, a little ham or salami, and bacon are the main ingredients in these easy little wonders.  I really need a reason to make these little babies.

That is my list for this week.  I will certainly be checking out what all the other bloggers have found in their travels around the internet this week.

Note:  All photos were taken by and are the property of the owners of the respective blogs represented.

  3. Do you really need a reason to make those bacon and cheese pinwheels? You mean bacon isn't enough reason?!? :P
