Time for another edition of Friday Finds. Here is just a few of the wonderful recipes I found on the web this week.
Happier Than a Pig in Mud
I included a find from this blog a couple of weeks ago. I usually don't include posts from the same blogger that often, but Lynn has been posting such fun and interesting recipes lately that I just had to include this one. I have heard of the pickled eggs made with beet juice, and Scotch eggs which use sausage or ground beef, but I have never heard of mustard pickled eggs. I really, really have to make these. I made potato salad today, and if I had seen this post before I did, I would have made this recipe first. Lynn suggests using them in egg or potato salad. I think they would be great conversation pieces made into deviled eggs.
Growing Up Gabel
I had been thinking about finding a recipe for making baked beans from scratch in a slow cooker, and, low and behold, this one turned up in some linky parties this week. The ingredients sound like this is a good one. If you don't need it to be kosher, bacon and ham can be added.
Hot Eats and Cool Reads
In the spring, I am all about everything rhubarb so am always looking for new recipes for it. To my delight, here is another rhubarb bar cookie for me to try. Who could resist something with cream cheese.
Rhubarb Syrup
Sew La Tea Dough
Sew La Tea Dough
Don't know if I would make sodas from this rhubarb syrup, but I am wondering how it would work on pancakes or waffles.
The Gunny Sack
Now that it is getting to be summer, I need some new ideas and recipes for making lunches. This looks as if it might be a good and fun one. I found this one at Will Cook for Smiles Father's Day Week Bacon Collection so if you love bacon as much as I do, head on over there for 45 great ideas.
After I am done checking out all those recipes in the bacon collection, I am heading on over to Friday Favorite Finds at Finding Joy in My Kitchen to see what other bloggers have found in their travels around the internet this week.
Everything looks so good, lovin' the pizza balls and rhubarb bars! Thanks for the shout-out, have a great weekend:@)
