Friday Finds

Here a just 5 of the great recipes that I found this week.

Happier Than a Pig in Mud

What I love about this recipe is that it is a way to fancy up good, ole, cheap pork n' beans.  Of course, it has bacon because everything is better with bacon.  The recipe as written includes ground beef so it is more of main dish to my thinking.  For a side dish, I would probably leave the ground beef out.

Finding Joy in My Kitchen

Cracker making is pretty easy.  Since I can't find chocolate graham crackers anymore, it is nice to have a recipe so I can make my own.

Make Your Own Flavored Mayo
Lemon Tree Dwelling

Flavored mayos are showing up again in the grocery stores, and at a pretty hefty price, I might add.  Cathy has recipes for six different mayos here, and there are some fun combinations.  One could have a really good time with this idea.

Frugal Foodie Mama

Some commercial waffle mixes will tell you that you can make Belgian waffles from their mix just by using a Belgian waffle maker.  That really is not so, and the commercial Belgian waffle mixes are more expensive than the regular waffle mixes.  I am glad to see one I can try at home.

CremedelaCrumb

I have been pretty good lately about not sharing lots of links to sweets, but when you put chocolate and butterscotch together, I am so there.  Most, most definitely on the "to make" list.

Just a very small sample of the goodies I found this week.  To see what other bloggers found, head on over to Friday Favorite Finds at Finding Joy in My Kitchen.
